Embedded Twine Activity example
Task: Create a simulation that incorporates empathy and change management into a ship management role.
Twine was used for this activity. It incorporated branching paths and variables with resulting feedback. After a couple iterations, the SME was very pleased with the result. It was so well received by the participanparticipantsts that the first cohort was brought in to further refine other branching activities.
Embedded H5P Activity example
Task: With the provided Excel workbook, create an activity that walks the participants through the steps and skills required to complete a full ship's provisioning.
An H5P interactive book was incorporated into the course for this exercise. An initial meeting with the SME provided background on the activity. The ID asked for a brief "backstory" to accompany the learning. It was expanded into a completed Interactive Book.
